She began the yoga therapeutics of ISHTA yoga- the Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda.
Under the guidance of Yogiraj Alan Finger, in the early 90s, Alan influenced and inspired Amy and showed her the gateway of the body-mind connection to both higher consciousness, creativity, wellbeing, physiological and psychological wholeness. This was when Amy's began her formal therapeutic and yoga teaching career--using the body as a portal to heal every other area of life. She went from depression and depleted to exuberant, excited and experienced!
